Stonethrow fly fishing lodge accommodation is available year round as some of our New Zealand Rivers are open all seasons. The main fly fishing lodge which has one queen size bed, one single and a fold out couch bed.
We have two other locations for larger groups that offer the same out the door view and fishing. Both are within walking distance from the main lodge.
All prices for our accommodation include a continental breakfast and tackle should you want to fish alone.
1 night $190 for up to 2 people

All our daily guiding rates are for 1-2 people and include lunch and refreshments while on the river. If you have any special requests (e.g. helicopter wilderness fishing or more people) let us know and we can work out a deal, custom made to your needs. No challenge is to hard for us!

Fishing licences are required to fish in New Zealand lakes and rivers. Fishing licences are not included in our rates and are listed below according to the area fished. We can arrange fishing licences for you and your fishing party on the day of fishing.
There are two different licencing bodies in New Zealand. Department of Conservation covers Lake Taupo and tributaries. Back country and wilderness fishing is covered by Fish & Game and can be purchased online using your credit card prior to your trip or by calling the New Zealand free phone number 0800 542 3623 (this method costs an extra $5). We use this method on the day if you do not already have a licence.
